Description:
Role focus is system decommissioning with support in the conception, definition, and implementation of decisions regarding the archiving of legacy data and systems.
Normally a principal architect / consultant or a project manager, with many years of experience.
Desirable: Had done such kind of projects.
It is more or less the same a project manager is doing for building systems, same knowhow plus some topic-specific skills is needed for decommissioning.
Must have:
Several years of experience in SAP cutover and migration projects In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA system architectures Experience with customer-specific R/3 applications and custom developments Knowledge of the challenges in parallel productive environments (R/3 and S/4) Experience with role and authorization concepts, especially in read-only operation Practical experience in decommissioning and archiving SAP systems for legal and regulatory reasons Understanding of compliance and GoBD-relevant risks D
Desirable:
Experience in planning and implementing migration and shutdown strategies Knowledge of SAP Basis, transport organization, and data archiving Strong communication skills and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration Experience in international SAP transformation projects
