Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Support the accounting team with payroll processing, tax preparation, and audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing one)
• 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships count!)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting systems
• Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
• Familiarity with payroll or tax filing processes
