We are looking to add a few Ammonia Service Technicians to join our team! This position will be responsible for installing and repairing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and equipment. This position will require the technician to travel to meet company and client standards. Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems and related equipment/facilities.
  • Familiar with start-up and shut-down processes in production plants.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical components with the meter when equipment is down.
  • Performs PMs, maintains all assigned equipment and systems, and ensures all systems are performing in a safe and functional manner at all times.
  • Repairs and maintains all assigned systems/equipment throughout the plant and making sure they operate according to the required standards.
  • Maintains and performs preventative maintenance activities and conducts repairs on all assigned systems/equipment.
  • Follows all EPA regulations and company/ customer safety regulations and protocols.
  • This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment, or a similar role.
  • Must have electrical, mechanical, and ammonia refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with air compressors and associated control systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of EPA regulations.
  • Ability to handle physical workload in a fast-paced environment and work in a wide variety of temperatures.
  • Will be required to travel and work weekends as needed to meet customer needs.
  • OSHA 10 and any industry-related certifications are highly preferred.
