Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326 Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Day Shift) Contract Type: Travel/Contract Pay Rate: $1,897.50 – $2,001.00 per week Key Responsibilities: Perform Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) in portable and outpatient settings. Conduct Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including probe handling and high-level disinfection (HLD). Support and assist with Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE) procedures. Utilize ultrasound contrast and agitated saline for enhanced imaging as needed. Document findings accurately using EPIC EMR. Operate the Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System efficiently. Participate in on-call rotation: approximately every 5th weekend (Friday–Monday), one night per week, and occasional holiday coverage (response time within 1 hour). Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography or related accredited program (2-year program). Registry eligibility for Adult Echocardiography (ARDMS) or RCS certification (CCI). Competency in structural heart imaging. Knowledge of ultrasound contrast and agitated saline application. Familiarity with TEE procedures and probe disinfection protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Pediatric Echocardiography. Prior experience with EPIC EMR. Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems.
