The Wayzata Kids after school program provides high-quality childcare for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  The Wayzata Kids program is looking for enthusiastic Child Care Assistants who love working with children and are passionate about youth development. Your Role Will Include:

• Assisting with fun, curiosity-sparking activities in a positive, welcoming setting.
• Building meaningful connections with kids while prioritizing safety and inclusion.
• Upholding Wayzata’s high standards for excellence in every interaction.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• No prior work experience required. 
• Some prior work experience with students in a group setting is a plus.
• Pass background check. 
• Reliable transportation needed.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting $17.52/hour up to $18.25/hour.
• Opportunities for career advancement or pairing with midday roles (e.g. nutrition or para).

Locations & Shift Times:

• Birchview, Greenwood, Kimberly Lane, Meadow Ridge, North Woods, Oakwood, Plymouth Creek, Sunset Hill, Gleason Lake
• Hours: 2 PM - 6 PM. Hours may vary by location.
