Correctional Officer Lieutenant Department: Community Reintegration Center (CRC) Full-time, Hourly Hourly Range: \$37.34 - \$45.00/hr Job Summary Lieutenants supervise all correctional officer staff on a specified shift. Their objective is to inspect and ensure all areas of the facility meet security health and maintenance standards in accordance with federal state and local jail codes. Lieutenants complete violation hearings for residents and administer proper discipline and lock-up orders. Lieutenants run and monitor the daily operations for staff including scheduling, call ins, checking jail logs and RMS reports, touring housing units and segregation areas, and performing wellness checks on residents. Security is a daily responsibility which includes performing shakedowns, dealing with non-compliant residents and medical emergencies, PREA complaints, use of force reporting, reviewing cameras for any incidents or injuries onsite.
