Job Title: Data & Evidence Entry Specialist
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Long-term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain proper chain-of-custody for electronic devices received internally or by mail.
Examine digital content on hard drives and validate it against inventory documentation.
Prepare and upload data using Excel templates and online evidence systems.
Verify accuracy of uploaded information and resolve discrepancies.
Capture high-volume data entries such as device identifiers, employee details, and documentation logs.
Flag inconsistencies in paperwork or devices and communicate issues promptly.
Label, organize, and store devices and documentation for short- and long-term retention.
Follow digital forensic handling standards and organizational security policies.
Lift and handle bins with electronic devices weighing 50+ lbs.
Work independently while maintaining strong organization and communication skills.
