**Equipment Operator** **Schedule:** + **Days:** Monday - Friday + **Shift:** 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Shift ends when all work is completed - overtime is expected) **Pay Rate:** $17.00/hr **Employment Type:** Contract-to-Hire **Position Summary:** This position involves operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and more. The role also includes general warehouse tasks such as order pulling, loading/unloading, inventory control, and cross-training in other departments. Candidates should expect physically demanding work and a team-oriented environment where everyone works until the job is completed. **Key Responsibilities:** + Safely operate MHE including forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc. + Load and unload trailers, verify product accuracy, and stage for put-away + Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment using conveyor and staging systems + Load trucks based on delivery routes and product specifications + Use RF scanners/Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools for inventory and location tracking + Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment + Cross-train and assist in other warehouse departments as needed + Perform additional duties as assigned **Requirements:** + **Mandatory Experience** **:** + 1+ year of recent experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks + 1+ year of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience + **Physical Demands:** + Regularly lift 35-48 lbs + Occasionally push, pull, or move up to 100 lbs + **Other Requirements:** + Must be at least 18 years old + Ability to pass a background check and 4-panel drug screening (no THC) + MVR screen required for driving roles (no DUIs) + Must meet Full-Time Employment (FTE) standards for conversion **Dress Code:** + Clean, casual attire appropriate for warehouse and varying weather conditions + Shorts allowed (must be longer than mid-thigh) + No baggy, see-through, or offensive clothing + No loose jewelry; long hair must be tied back + Closed-toe, closed-back shoes required (no sandals, Crocs, or soft footwear) ****Please Submit Updated Resume**** If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
