Golf Cart Attendant
Golf course in Sacramento, California is looking for a Golf Cart Attendant.
Position Overview:
Responsible for maintaining the cart rental supply, picking up and cleaning the driving range balls daily; washing, parking and charging the golf carts in the proper manner. The position will act as a customer service representative to the golfers before and after their rounds of golf.
Duties:
• Maintains the cleanliness of the golf carts.
• Always maintains the proper number of golf carts in the rental line.
• Maintains the daily range ball inventory and basket supplies.
• Performs opening and closing duties.
• Performs minor custodial duties such as cleaning the restrooms and taking out the garbage.
• Greets public and participants, answers questions, provides information or directs them to proper office. Assists the golfers in any way possible.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Assists with the tournament operations and other golf events.
• Operates golf cart, two-way radios, etc.
• Communicates effectively and tactfully with the golf participants.
• Attends and participates in regular staff meetings and in-service trainings as necessary.
• Follows oral and written instructions.
• Works harmoniously and cooperatively with fellow employees and the public.
• Answers questions regarding various programs.
• Performs administrative tasks, such as completing accident/incident reports.
• Performs physical labor, lift, carry, push and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) Walk, stand, stoop and crouch for long periods; climb ladders.
• Performs under various weather conditions.
Requirements:
Previous experience working at a golf course is desired.
Compensation:
$16.50 – $17.00 per hour.
