HR Onboarding Assistant Location Dalton, GA :

Job Summary:

The HR Onboarding Assistant will assist in the new hire onboarding and orientation processes for manufacturing and administrative positions at a central location for all Engineered Floors facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance for applicants who need help with the on-line application process and new hire packet.
  • Administer the onboarding processes of all hourly new hires.
  • Contact and assist new hires with the new hire paperwork to be completed prior to their pre-employment drug screen appointment.
  • Serve as the E-Verify Administrator and complete the E-Verify process in a timely manner.
  • Be able to translate documents in Spanish as needed.
  • Hire all new hires in the company's Application Tracking System (ATS).
  • Verify all new hire employee records are up-to-date with accurate information.
  • Assist in keeping our onboarding materials in stock and ready for distribution.
  • Entering new hires' information in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Serve as a backup for our Onboarding Coordinators
  • Assist with other duties as requested.

  • Must be able to present and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and oral.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral.

Other Requirements:

  • Overtime is required on occasion.
  • May require travel to additional locations upon occasion.
  • Sitting, standing, reaching and occasional lifting of various objects.
