General Purpose:

The Inside Sales Representative adds new revenue to the existing base of TPx customers by attracting new accounts. This position is responsible for achieving a monthly quota of new revenue. The Inside Sales Representative is primarily focused on a suite of Managed Services featuring the UCx Unified Communications Platform.

Reports to (Supervisor/Manager):

  • Senior Manager, Inside Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generates and transmits qualified referrals to internal TPx sales teams.
  • Conducts outgoing calls to develop new business opportunities and qualify leads.
  • Leverages marketing tools to research, track, maintain and update leads/prospects.
  • Researches and maintains lead database utilizing SFDC and Outreach.
  • Utilizes TPx provided systems for lead and opportunity management.
  • Performs online product demonstrations.
  • Advises prospective customers of most suitable company solutions by answering incoming inquiries and responding via outbound calls.
  • Influences customers to purchase products or services by following existing sales process and a list of prepared profiling and qualifying questions or script.
  • Documents all profiling information, cross-selling results, marketing activities and transactions in CRM system.
  • Maintains sales operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains customer service quality by following organization standards in a timely manner.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending regular product and solution training.
  • Reviews publications and potential customer events.

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to team effort by completing related goals and duties as needed.
  • Engages Solution Architect resources for additional discovery and solution design and approval.
  • Gathers competitive information from opportunities.
  • Submits NSRs and ICBs.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and presentation skills.
  • Must be capable of balancing between fulfilling customers’ needs and meeting company expectations and goals.
  • Knowledge of computer and word processing systems and programs.
  • Ability to work under a quota plan.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility.
  • Ability to learn new processes and procedures and stay current on products services promotions and technology.

Other Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
  • Previous account management or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.
