Part-Time Laboratory Assistant – Charlotte, NC
Approx. 20 hours/week | Mon–Thu, 10:00am–3:00pm

We’re looking for a Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to join our Metrology (Standards) Team — the crew that helps create materials our client labs use to ensure quality, reliable patient testing.

You’ll work with a friendly, collaborative team, learn valuable lab techniques, and play a direct role in supporting our mission to make quality lab testing more accessible.

What you’ll do (Mon–Thu, 10am–3pm):

• Assist Metrology Specialists in preparing toxicology LCMS validation materials and molecular infectious disease assay mixes.

• Label, pipette, and prepare aliquots with precision.

• Package shipments; create packing slips, labels, and order fulfillments in NetSuite.

• Complete recipe work orders, assemblies, and documentation scanning.

• Track and order lab and shipping supplies.

• Maintain a clean, organized lab environment that meets quality standards.

• Contribute ideas to improve processes and refine techniques.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma required; associate degree in science preferred.

• 6+ months of lab experience preferred.

• Steady hand dexterity for repetitive pipetting.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel.

• A proactive, helpful attitude and great customer service skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $20 - $22 per hour based on experience
