Lead Developer - Java, Azure, API, Databricks

Key Focus Areas
Lead a team focused on data conversion, real-time data integration, and platform development.
Possess a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices (this is not a DevOps engineer role).
Design scalable, resilient systems, provide technical guidance to developers, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Must-Have Skills
Cloud Platforms:
Deep expertise with Azure , including AKS , ADLS , and Azure DevOps .
Programming:
Strong proficiency in Java ; familiarity with Rust or other functional programming languages is a plus.
Architecture:
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka ).
Expertise in API-first design .
Proficiency in Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes .
Data Engineering:
Experience working with Databricks and Data Mesh concepts.
Strong understanding of real-time data pipelines and data conversion workflows.
Security & Compliance:
Background working in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance , ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Soft Skills & Leadership
Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers .
Comfortable facilitating Agile ceremonies including scrum and backlog grooming .
Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders .
Strong problem-solving , whiteboarding , and system design abilities.
Capable of collaborating seamlessly across data , infrastructure , and product teams.
