Job Description

Cedar Park Med is recruiting dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are ready to provide quality patient care and join a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge to provide care that meets the needs of the patients served while upholding our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development to assess and interpret data for identifying age-specific needs.
  • Provide leadership and coordination of quality patient care, fostering therapeutic relationships and active treatment.
  • Administer medications and oversee the medication room, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment and carry out nursing care recommendations and orders.
  • Serve as a shift leader when assigned, making work assignments for direct care staff and providing oversight to subordinate nursing staff.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide care/treatment as ordered by medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring adherence to hospital or facility protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the Nursing Department.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Kansas LPN license/temporary permit or have authorization to practice by the Kansas State Board of Nursing upon onboarding.
  • Minimum of 1 year of practical nursing experience .
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS certification .
