Our client is a global automotive supplier that is growing rapidly in the United States. Their business continues to thrive throughout 2024 and going into 2025, and due to this growth, they currently need to hire a Manufacturing Engineer.
Main duties include:
Identify ways to improve manufacturing processes by utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methods
Take part in major capital equipment projects
Improve CNC machining processes
Use flow charts and plant layout to better coordinate flow of production
Design fixtures and tooling by analyzing prints/drawings
Perform cycle-time analysis
Work closely with maintenance in troubleshooting issues on plant machinery
Qualifications include:
At least 1-2 years of experience leading production in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Hands-on engineering, utilizing lean or CI methods
Excellent communication skills
Tooling/fixture design experience
