Job Title: Medical Onboarding Coordinator

Location: Norwood, OH 45212

Duration: 16 Weeks

Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $43/hour (W2)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Onboarding Coordinator to manage and improve provider onboarding and integration processes. This role involves project management, performance improvement, and cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient onboarding of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management and continuous improvement initiatives related to provider onboarding and integration.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to streamline functions and implement performance improvement projects.

  • Ensure timely completion of onboarding and integration processes for newly hired physicians and APPs.

  • Manage integration needs for provider transitions, including location changes, additions, and departures.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management and/or process improvement experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Proficiency in advanced performance improvement tools and techniques.

  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.

  • Professional, adaptable, and self-motivated with high integrity.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2.5 years of experience working directly with physicians.

  • Physician onboarding or locum recruiter experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.

  • Master’s Degree preferred.

  • None required.
