Join Our Team as a Microelectronics Fabrication Specialist!

Position Summary:

Imagine being a vital part of the Microelectronics Division at L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL. As a Microelectronics Fabrication Specialist, you'll engage with semiconductor processing steps, partner with Process Engineering on experiments, identify improvements, and mentor new hires. Collaborate daily with process technicians and various engineering units to streamline operations and manage non-conformances.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Start and calibrate semiconductor process equipment using clear guidelines.
2. Verify each processing stage using metrology or inspection tools.
3. Input data into systems to uphold statistical process control.
4. Execute recovery plans when processes fall outside control parameters.
5. Troubleshoot and escalate equipment or process issues to team leaders.
6. Alert relevant personnel to any quality deviations.
7. Calculate optimal processing conditions and manufacture test wafers.
8. Conduct design of experiment trials and suggest improvements based on results.
9. Train incoming staff and ensure workspace safety and order.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/Associate degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2-6 years in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Eligible for Top Secret clearance.
• Adaptability to a compressed work schedule (e.g., Shift 1A/1B).
• Experienced in lithography, wet etch, dry etch, or similar fields.

Desirable Skills:

• Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
• Lean Six Sigma familiarity.
• Comfort working in secure environments.
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• A team-oriented mindset and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
