Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Remote (PST)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration Oracle Database on Unix.
- Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and ASM support.
- Strong database and operating system concepts.
- Should have good experience in administering Oracle DBs versions 19c in a high availability environment, experience in implementing DB upgrades
- Experience with GoldenGate .
- Database patching and upgrade support.
- Diagnose and address database performance issues.
- Manages database backup & recovery procedures, disaster recovery preparation and the associated exercises.
- DR and High Availability solutions such as Data Guard, RAC.
- Have knowledge in performance monitoring & tuning.
- Tune the database to ensure optimum use of resources.
- Troubleshoot Database / Goldengate related issues.
Skills :
- Oracle RAC11g/12c/19c, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, Exadata
- Performance Tuning, Good Issue Troubleshooting skills, Upgrade & Migrations
- OEM, Regular DBA activities
