Job Overview:
The Payroll Analyst will play a critical role in supporting payroll operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and utilizing advanced payroll systems such as ADP and Workday. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex payroll and tax-related tasks.

The role is a hybrid position, requiring two days in the office and three days remote, and is a two-month assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyze payroll data using ADP and Workday systems.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct research and provide support for payroll-related projects.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax documents as required.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with pending legislation affecting payroll operations.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external payroll service providers.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior payroll staff.
  • Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in payroll analysis, financial analysis, or tax analysis.
  • Proficiency in ADP and Workday payroll systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects.

Pay Range: $25 - $35

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
