**Job Title: Production Assistant** **Job Description** The Production Assistant will manage the unpackaging and racking of parts, with order sizes ranging from 2 to over 2,000. This involves pinching heavy-duty metal spring clips to hang fixtures on racks, requiring significant grip strength to avoid damaging the fixtures. The role can involve working up to 10 hours a day. **Responsibilities** + Unpackage parts and prepare them for racking. + Rack fixtures using metal spring clips, ensuring no damage occurs. + Assist with packaging products post-anodizing and painting to ensure safe transportation. + Inspect completed parts, confirm quantities, and move them to the finished goods area for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Strong grip strength for handling metal clips. + 6+ months of manufacturing experience. + Ability to walk or stand for 90% of the workday. + Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and accessing parts from various shelving levels. + Effective communication skills for interacting with employees, customers, and vendors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, packaging, and assembly. + Attention to detail and experience in general labor tasks. + Self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal supervision. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a stable work environment with a no layoff policy and focuses on internal promotion opportunities. The facility houses 50 employees, emphasizing independent and driven workers. The role requires frequent standing, handling, and lifting of materials, with shifts running Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and occasionally from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays. Steel toes are not required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
