Role: Robotics Engineer (Unitree & NVIDIA Omniverse) (NO H1B)

Location: Alpharetta, GA (On-site)

About the Project:

We are in the early stages of setting up a humanoid/robotics lab . This lab will focus on Unitree robotics (robotic dogs, humanoid platforms) and their integration with NVIDIA Omniverse. The initiative is greenfield-no prior setup-so you will play a key role in standing up the environment and building out the foundation for future robotics projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup and configuration of the robotics lab environment.
• Program and configure Unitree robotic platforms (robotic dogs/humanoids).
• Integrate and simulate robotics workflows within NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Collaborate with a small team (3 5 engineers to start) to establish lab infrastructure and testing processes.
• Provide technical guidance on robotics programming, simulation, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software integration challenges and ensure operational readiness.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in robotics programming with hands-on expertise in Unitree robots.
• Strong knowledge of NVIDIA Omniverse for robotics simulation, digital twins, or related applications.
• Solid programming skills (Python, C++, or similar) applied in robotics environments.
• Experience setting up robotics labs, testbeds, or prototyping environments is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, machine vision, or simulation tools is preferred.

Contract Details:

• Length: Initial 12 months, until the lab is successfully established.

• Start: ASAP.
