Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Developer to design, configure, and extend SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling solutions. The role requires both functional understanding of finance processes and strong technical development skills to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions in a global, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and enhance SAP FICO solutions across FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
• Design and implement custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (ABAP, BADI, BAPI, IDocs, SmartForms/Adobe).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions that support Apple's global finance operations.
• Collaborate with Finance business teams, functional consultants, and integration teams (MM, SD, Treasury, Tax, RAR, BRIM) to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Support financial close, compliance, and reporting processes through system enhancements and automation.
• Contribute to Apple's S/4HANA Finance roadmap, developing solutions with CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for FICO-related issues.
• Participate in testing cycles, cutover planning, data migration, and post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP FICO experience with hands-on ABAP development expertise.
• Strong knowledge of core finance and controlling processes: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing.
• Proficiency in ABAP Objects, Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits), BAPIs, IDocs, Reports, and Forms.
• Experience with integration between FICO and SD, MM, Treasury, and external tax/compliance systems.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA Finance simplifications and new data models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• SAP Certification in FICO and/or S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with Revenue Recognition (RAR), FICA/BRIM, or subscription/recurring revenue models.
• Exposure to modern SAP tools: CDS Views, OData, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
