The Penny Ice Creamery is seeking Shift Leads for our Scotts Valley location!
The Penny Ice Creamery is the only ice cream shop in Santa Cruz that makes ice cream completely from scratch, in house, using local and organic ingredients. We make unique flavors like Raspberry Rose, Whiskey Custard, and Pear Coffee Cake! We also make timeless flavors like Cookies n' Cream and Straight Up Strawberry, and our classics like Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Fresh Mint Chip, and Dark Chocolate.
As a Shift Leader, you will create an excellent customer experience by scooping ice cream and making special items like ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. You will get barista-trained and make high quality coffee and tea drinks. You will get trained on opening and closing the shop. You will also become an expert in making fresh sugar cones and marshmallow fluff from scratch.
In addition to providing exceptional service, you will be a leader and role model for the staff. During your shift, you will be responsible for maintaining the flow of business and the presentation of the shop, and upholding our high standards of service, product quality, and hospitality.
The position is available at The Penny Ice Creamery in Scotts Valley (262 Mt. Hermon Road, #104, Scotts Valley, CA 95066).
