Position Overview:

InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring is hiring a Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse operations. This role is critical. You are the gatekeeper of material, inventory accuracy, and job cost integrity. If you believe warehouses should be clean, controlled, and system-driven—not chaotic or informal—this role is for you.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for enforcing strict inventory controls using JobRunner as the single source of truth, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse, and ensuring that no material moves without authorization or documentation.

Core Responsibilities:

Inventory Control & Systems:

• Own all inventory activity using JobRunner’s Warehouse Module on iPads.
• Ensure 100% of receiving, transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments are recorded in JobRunner.
• Eliminate paper tracking or informal processes.
• Perform and document weekly cycle counts, investigate variances, and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory tied to job costs.

Receiving & Inbound Materials:

• Verify all inbound shipments against JobRunner Purchase Orders.
• Inspect materials for quantity, color, lot, damage, or shortages.
• Document discrepancies immediately and coordinate resolution.
• Label and store materials in clearly defined warehouse locations.

Material Issuance & Outbound Control:

• Enforce a zero-exception rule:
  • No material leaves the warehouse without an approved Sales Order or Pick Ticket.
• Verify material accuracy before release.
• Record all issues to jobs, trucks, or installers in JobRunner.

Returned Material (REM) Management:

• Receive and log all returned material as REM, not regular stock.
• Clearly label REM with job reference and return date.
• Store REM in a physically segregated area.
• Manage REM aging and disposition (return, sell, donate, discard) within 60 days.

Warehouse Organization & Housekeeping:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse at all times.
• Enforce location discipline—everything has a labeled home.
• Keep aisles, exits, and fire equipment clear.
• Ensure materials are stacked straight, secure, and damage-free.

Access Control & Accountability:

• Restrict warehouse access to authorized personnel only.
• Approve all material handling and movement.
• Enforce SOPs consistently—no shortcuts, no exceptions.

Leadership & Oversight:

• Train warehouse staff on SOPs and JobRunner usage.
• Conduct audits and correct non-compliance immediately.
• Track and report inventory accuracy, REM aging, and discrepancies.
