MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM INSTALLATION, SERVICE, OR MAINTENANCE

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Service Technician to fill an opening with our client in Humble, TX.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am–4 or 4:30pm, with occasional overtime 

Requirements for Water Treatment Service Technician:

• 2 years of recent experience with water treatment systems (water softeners, reverse osmosis, filtration, or similar).
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. (media bags, salt bags, and equipment).
• Mechanical aptitude with plumbing, pumps, and electrical connections (PVC, carbon filters, RO membranes).
• Ability to follow manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for on-site training with clients.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Prior experience in roles such as Water Systems Installation & Service Technician, Water Filtration Field Technician, Water Treatment Field Service Specialist, Reverse Osmosis & Water Softener Technician, or Water Quality Service Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Water Treatment Service Technician:

• Visit customer sites to commission newly installed water softeners and reverse osmosis systems, load media, run backwashing/regeneration cycles, and test product water.
• Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Perform monthly services including system readings, water quality checks, filter cartridge replacements, and replenishing water softener salt.
• Deliver new equipment to customer sites, assist with unloading and placement.
• Perform system maintenance such as pump replacements, membrane changes, and media re-bedding.
• Assist with the installation of plumbing/electrical connections and basic fabrication as needed.
• Safely load/unload equipment, handle warehouse tasks, and maintain a clean workspace.
