Job description:
This position provides customer service through interaction with members while ensuring the facility remains clean, organized and sanitary.
Essential Duties:
Knowledge of exercise equipment allowing for answering questions related to how to use equipment.
Perform janitorial procedures of the fitness facility.
Ensure the fitness facility remains clean and organized; organize dumbbells, weight plates, and bars.
Ensure pool areas are tidy, and furniture organized.
Ensure locker rooms are kept clean and sanitary.
Disinfect and clean equipment routinely throughout the shift.
Inspect facility for required maintenance and create service requests as needed.
Maintain a clean workspace.
Do laundry as needed.
Help out in other areas of the facility when needed.
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent.
Knowledge of exercise equipment and general fitness facility protocols (preferred).
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to current members in a friendly and professional manner.
Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. for short distances.
Maintain professional appearance and wear designated uniforms/conform to dress code.
