This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a WordPress Web Designer (Mid) in Latin America .

In this role, you will design, build, and manage high-quality WordPress websites that combine aesthetic appeal with technical performance. You will work independently on projects from concept to launch while collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure brand alignment, user experience, and timely delivery. Your focus will be on creating responsive, fast, and visually engaging websites, customizing WooCommerce stores, and implementing modern web technologies to enhance interactivity and functionality. This position offers full remote flexibility, exposure to diverse projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic digital environment.

Accountabilities

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress with Divi and Elementor builders.
• Build, customize, and extend WooCommerce stores, including products, checkout flows, layouts, and styling.
• Manage projects end-to-end, including client communication, planning, design, revisions, and deployment.
• Implement intermediate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experience and interactivity.
• Optimize websites for speed, mobile performance, and security.
• Conduct quality assurance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain consistent branding and UX standards.
• Handle staging, versioning, and migration between environments safely.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and clients to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience designing and managing WordPress websites.
• Advanced proficiency with Divi and Elementor (custom CSS, global elements, templates, dynamic content).
• WooCommerce setup and customization experience, including checkout flows and payment integrations.
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and basic PHP for template modifications.
• Understanding of responsive design, SEO basics, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with hosting platforms, cPanel, and website migration.
• Strong visual design sense, familiarity with Figma/XD wireframes, and modern UI principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, self-motivation, organization, and client-facing experience.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with ACF, advanced SEO, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, Zapier, Cronjobs, Cloudflare, and project management platforms.
